Bountiful Reviews - Dachshund Puppies

Thank you to the families and friends who have purchased one of our doxie's and given them a loving, nurturing and stable home. One of the biggest blessings that I have had in raising these little guys and gals, is meeting new people from all walks of life and making new friends who share a common interests in taking care of these delightful creatures God has made. They truly are therapy dogs, especially when lots of love, time, consistency, patience and understanding are given to them. They are truly committed to their owners.

PLEASE NOTE: From 2007 to the present, my dachshund business has been attacked on ripoffreport.com and several sites by a person named June Oaksun Choi. There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY on these sites, so anyone can say anything about any person or business on them and never have to prove a thing. These attacks and false reports occurred after I kindly declined to sell her a dachshund puppy because I discovered there was good evidence on the web, even in June's own writing, that a dachshund in her family's possession was mistreated. We happened to be warned by several reputable breeders in Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, etc. who had several dealings with her and were also attacked as I was online in the same similar way, not to sell this lady a pup if she ever came our way. We found this out right before we were to deliver our pup to them. I found out that a rubber band was put around a dachshund's nose and mouth to stop it from barking, causing permanent damage. You should know that I have never attacked June, though my husband has done his best defending me and getting June Oaksun Choi to admit online that she was the one who'd written the libel statements against my hobby/business using aliases. The whole story unfolds in the comments section of Ms. Choi's post. Ms. Choi knows that if there are any more attacks against me, that my husband will file suit again. My fiance and I just bought our first puppy together from Bama Jama/Bountiful Dachshunds. Bountiful was so helpful in giving us information about getting a new puppy and what to expect and also the shipping process. Our puppy is so happy and loving and has a great disposition. This family at Bountiful took great care of her and we were so lucky to have such a loving family take care of our baby before we got her. I would highly recommend Bountiful and their puppies, especially if you are a new puppy owner. They are helpful and very honest and I certainly appreciated them keeping us updated throughout the entire process.

Bama Jama/Bountiful Dachshunds is a kind and caring breeder.....REAL to the core!! My vet was very impressed with our little Longfellow and asked where I got him. In fact, two girls in my vets office actually breed mini-Dachshunds and they ooooohed and aaaahhhed over him!!! Bountiful is very honest and loves their doxies!! If I ever decide on another one I will definately get it from them. Little Longfellow is happy, well socialized and very healthy!!! Great temperament. We are all just putty in his little paws!! Bama Jama/Bountiful Dachshunds was the best when it came to getting Sophie, she is our 3rd Dachshund and we just can't get over how much we love her and how she fits right in with our other dogs, they all play very well together. Bountiful was very helpful with keeping us informed about Sophie and they also worked with us on shipping Sophie so that we could pick her up the same day that we returned from our vacation, how GREAT was that!!!! We arrived at the airport and went straight to air cargo and picked up Sophie an hour later. I highly recommend Bountiful Dachshunds if you are looking for a caring, kind and honest breeder who will bend over backwards to make you and your puppy very happy. I am happy to have this opportunity to tell everyone looking to have a Dachshund become a part of your family that Bama Jama/Bountiful Dachshunds are just wonderful. I bought my two babies in November 2007 and have smiled everyday since. They are beautiful and are true Dachshunds. My last pair lived 18 years and before that we had dachshunds growing up. When I got Jack and Pumpkin from Bama Jama, they were paper trained. I know they are from a good background. They are so smart and pick up on commands so easy. Too bad I cannot add pictures. Many thanks to Bountiful Dachshunds for the great beginning they gave to our Heidi. She has been a happy, hyper, and healthy dachshund that has brought great joy to our family, as well as Scooby, our other dachshund. We also appreciated you meeting us half way. Bountiful Dachshunds has the most precious and healthy puppies anyone could desire. Rudy and Bonnie were the parents of the little one we chose. Her name is Gracie Belle and she is absolutely precious and one year old now. People have often said she is the most beautiful dachshund they have ever seen. She is not only beautiful but has a million dollar personality. She can make me laugh even if I am not in a laughing mood. Bountiful is the only breeder that I would buy a puppy from. Their puppies are healthy!!! They're loving Christians who put their hearts into their business/hobby. Before deciding where to go to buy my puppy, I read all the reviews of breeders in Alabama with long haired dachshund puppies for sale. I went with my instincts and hit the jackpot!

I just had to let you know how wonderful the puppy we chose from Bountiful Dachshunds is and what a joy he is to our family. We searched diligently for a reputable breeder to purchase our second dachshund from. We bought our first when we lived in Germany. We found Bountiful to be an extremely caring breeder that constantly strives to deliver the truest dachshunds of the breed. I visited Bountiful to pick up our dachshund and I could tell that these were not pets but members of the family. First and foremost, I have to start by saying what type of person Lynn is and how she cares for the client, the dachshund, and the bond that the person and the dog will form for the rest of their lives. A littler over a year ago, I saw Gretchen, a beautiful red pie-bald dachshund with white paws and a white stomach on the internet. Expecting her to be taken immediately, I called on a Sunday morning heading to church. I got no answer and felt like maybe the dog was already claimed. Lynn called me back confessing that she too had been to church, was on her way home, and that Gretchen was still available. We talked to each other over the phone, exchanging stories about family, our dachshund, and life and we both felt an immediate connection to each other. I confessed to her that I had the funds to purchase Gretchen but that I currently did not have the means to pay the shipping at the time. Lynn said, "I feel so good about you and this situation that I am going to ship her to you this week. Just pay me when you get a chance." I was stunned at her generosity. Her first priority is the care and well being of the dog and the person that is receiving a new addtion to the family. As for our new addition, Gretchen is a blessing, full of life and energy. We get compliments about her everywhere we go. And, our other dachshund Harley, loves her too. We could not be happier! Thank you Lynn, for who you are and what you do. You are a blessing to dogs and people alike.

We recently adopted two beautiful puppies (babies) (Charlie & Lucy) from Bountiful Dachshunds and the proud parents of Miss. Mimzy and Mr. Rudy. I did a lot of research on local breeders and found that Bountiful Dachshunds was/is the perfect fit for us. I would definitely recommend Lynn and Bountiful Dachshunds to anyone who has a love for this breed and have done so. We had recently lost our 2 Dachshunds and Lynn was understanding and patient with us and our concern for adopting healthy, well tempered puppies. Our experience dealing with Lynn Harper has been nothing less that OUTSTANDING! Her personable and caring demeanor is unquestionable! She is extremely caring and loving of her 'Troop' of Dachshunds. When I went to look at the puppies, I didn't realize how hard of a decision it would be to pick one out. All of the puppies were so sweet and beautiful. I know I was there for almost two hours but Lynn was so patient with me. She told me to take as much time as I needed. That meant a lot because the puppy was going to be part of our family. She brought Molly's parents in so I could meet them. We picked up our sweet Molly on September 5, 2010. She is a red long coat miniature dachshund. She is such a beautiful dog. She's so loving and so full of energy. She has truly blessed our lives. Every time someone sees her, they comment on how beautiful she is. I always tell them where I bought her because I was very impressed with Lynn. You can definitely tell that she loves her doxies very much. If you decide you want one of these sweet babies, you definitely need to give Lynn a call.

It was a real pleasure doing business with you. We love our little Biscuit. She is just like a child. We know something is up when we see her peeking at us around the corner with a "I'm innocent-it was not me" look on her face. To anyone looking for a puppy, if you do not want to feel that you are getting a puppy from a life-long friend, you do not want a puppy from Lynn Harper. She is an awesome person. I was treated like a true friend by her and all of her children. I was not rushed to leave and Lynn was more than happy to show me around and let me visit with all the animals. My mother had Breast Cancer at the time. Lynn alway kept a check on my mother (as Lynn's sister was battling breast cancer at the same time) and prayed to God on her behalf. These days, most people do not want to mention God. It was a true blessing to meet a fellow Christian who is not ashamed to speak about how great our maker is. To wrap it up, Lynn is a wonderful-honest-Christian woman. If you are looking for a special puppy to purchase from a special lady, you have found the place to make it happen.

Our two dachshunds ages 16 and 15 died last year. We were heartbroken. After many months we decided to adopt a new puppy. We looked for a breeder that loved dachshunds, and one we felt we could trust. I found Bountiful Dachshunds website and was impressed with what I read. In August, after talking to Lynn several times on the phone, we decided to drive from Tennessee to see her puppies. Lynn was so extremely nice to us and let us play with the puppies as well as visit with their parents. We stayed several hours and never seemed rushed to make a decision. The pups were all very socialized and well adjusted. You could just tell they were part of her family, and she wanted good, loving homes for her babies. As it turned out, we adopted 2 beautiful females instead of only one. Our babies are just wonderful, and our vet is very pleased with their disposition and physical condition. We constantly get compliments from others regarding their beauty and personalities. We highly recommend Bountiful Dachshunds and Lynn Harper if you love dachshunds and are interested in adding a new four legged member to your family.

We recently purchased a puppy from Bountiful Dachshunds. We spent months researching breeders. Lynn was recommended highly by the vet clinic where our son has studied. We visited the Harpers' home to see the puppies, the dam & sire, as well as their other dachshunds. They were all so cute. We were allowed all the time we needed to make our decision. We chose Johann, a Black/Cream Piebald to join our family. Lynn was very cooperative in helping us through the exciting puppy adoption process. Johann is smart, friendly & beautiful. He is settling in very nicely with Sneaky & Chili, his new brother and sister. Our experience with Bountiful Dachshunds was a very positive experience. Johann is a wonderful 24th anniversary present!

We adopted our new family member Kody Boy from Bountiful Dachshunds in June. Lynn was super nice and very helpful and accomodating. She kept in contact with us the first couple of weeks to help with concerns of questions. It is very comforting to know that Bountiful Dachshunds loves and cares for all their dachshunds very much and therefore are able to breed happy healthy puppies. Our little Kody has fit right in with our family and has been a joy to have around. Thank you Bountiful Dachshunds!
